WHY DONATE? Everyone agrees that internet security is critical. Unfortunately, computer security is not a ground zero topic addressed by No Child Left Behind. As a result, most schools have insufficient unallocated funds to purchase computer security books. To meet this shortfall, about a year ago we began donating a computer security text designed specifically for teenagers – to schools and teachers around the United States. Our goal is to provide books for all requesting schools across the United States. You can help us reach this goal! You can donate one book or as many as you want. Each donation takes us one step closer to preparing every student for a safe and secure online experience. HOW DOES IT WORK? Basically, you tell us how many books you’d like to donate. For smaller donations, you can donate the books right this minute using your credit card. Just click the button in the center of this screen and you’re off and running. If you donate under 500 books using Book Give™ we send you a thank you and let you know which school on the list will be receiving your donation. When enough donations have been made to fill the needs of that school, we ship the books all at the same time. To keep our costs down, we don’t provide tax-deduction paperwork for small donations. If you donate 500 or more books, we process your donation a little differently. These donations are handled by our non-profit partners, so you will receive a tax-deduction as allowed by law.
