Privacy Policy

At 100 page press®, we take your privacy VERY seriously. Unless you submit information directly to us, by submitting an online form requesting information, creating an account, or donating one or more books, we collect no personal information about you at all. When you do send us personal information, we prefer to keep it to ourselves. We do NOT share, sell, or trade your information with three exceptions.

  1. If you donate 500 books or more, we will share your information with our 501(c)(3) partners so that you will receive a proper tax-deduction for your contribution.
  2. We also think that our donors like to know about each other. So, if it’s OK with you, we’d like to list your name, and/or your company’s name under our list of Donors. If you’re not comfortable with that, that’s OK too. When you donate book(s), you are given the chance to opt out of being a “known” donor. If you choose that option, we will absolutely respect your choice.
  3. When you donate books online using your credit card, we need to share your information with the financial company that processes our credit card orders.

Non-personal data

Regardless of whether you send us personal information, our website does collect non-personal data through the use of server-based "session variables." We use these variables to help our site run more smoothly by providing functionality like letting us recognize logged-in users and securely pass shopping cart information. Our web-server also records IP addresses from all visitors to our site. (An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you use the Internet.) We use IP addresses to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer our web site, and to gather demographic information—all to help us to continually improve our website. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. Collecting IP addresses is standard practice in most web-server environments.

Cookies

In order to identify customers as they proceed through the check out process, our website uses a single “cookie” (a small file stored by your browser on your hard drive). Thus, online transactions require a browser that accepts “cookies.”
